So I.. I have chemical depression/ imbalance. I had it since last August.
For the past week or so, I’ve been struggling to tell my parents. Tonight I finally mustered up the courage to tell my mom. She had depression when she was my age, so she understands me. She is really supportive, and I am grateful for that. We’re going to see if we can find a therapist, so that’s something. Maybe I will find antidepressants that work for me.
I don’t usually talk about my feelings, especially here on Medi, but I thought that I wanted to share this. I apologize for venting if you didn’t want or need to see this. Thank you if you read this.
