Ibis paint x is one of the best art programs out there, most intermediate and even expert artists use it! Imo, for me it took a little adjusting, but it's a heck ton better than medibang and there are more layer blending modes and canvas settings and brushes. I think you should try ibis paint, it think it will level up your art greatly :>

Which one is better depends on your particular tastes. I personally find medibang to be more complicated and less responsive, and I find ibis very intuitive and extremely simple and straight forward. Other than the effects, I never managed to figure those out
