Okay…because I keep good grades, I’m in a program called CSF (California Scholarship Federation) and in order to get the cord for CSF at graduation, you need 15 community service hours per semester. So, I started TA-ing for one of our teachers.

Wednesday wasn’t too bad. Just a kid in 7th grade refusing to take out his headphone, and he threw something at a kid sitting across from him.

Friday however…haha- in both 7th & 8th grade, they were in testing protocol.

In the 8th grade class, a couple of boys kept turning around and poking each other really hard. Then they would start pulling each other’s hoodies. I legit had to go mom mode on these kids. So I got up, walked up behind the boys and one was currently in the middle of poking the other so I move his arm back to his desk (as I said, they were literally turning around to poke each other) and told them: “Boys. Stop it. We’re testing.” One put his head down and I scared the crap out of the other because he didn’t know I was behind him. After a while the boys start poking each other again so the one in the middle got moved to an island in the front of the class (and it’s in front of my desk so pretty much they have to sit in front of me) and after the kid is moved, while the teacher is helping another student, he turns around and starts flipping off the other students. So, I called his name, and he didn’t listen. Then, I leaned over my desk, said his name in that stern mom voice and he looked at me so I said: “turn around and keep your eyes on your iPad. We don’t need to be doing that. We’re testing.” Man I have never seen a kid drop his head so fast.

Then in 7th grade…oh my god…I can’t. One kid walks in and the first words out of his mouth are: “why is there nut all over my table?” 🫩 bro…you’re 12, and in 7th grade…why are you talking like that? Another kid is a lot to handle so he was immediately put at the island in front of my desk. First words out of that kids mouth were: “why the f-ck am I here?” Idk…maybe cause you’re a pain in the behind? 🥀 then a different kid tells one of the boys: “I want you in the back.” 💀 those two ALWAYS act gay with each other but again, they’re 12 and in 7th grade…not to mention that same kid almost said the N-Word like 3 times 🤦🏻‍♀️ like bro you shouldn’t even be TRYING to say that. It doesn’t matter that you caught yourself and cut yourself off…“nig-” shouldn’t even be coming out of your mouth.

The principal had asked if I’d be her eyes & ears on the inside, and honestly I have no problem doing that. Since I’m an upperclassmen (Junior) and they’re in middle school, I’m not scared of a bunch of kids. So, I started writing down what these kids were doing in a notebook and at the end of lunch walked up to the principal, gave her the page of the notebook, she thanked me and started immediately heading to the classrooms, and I went on my merry way.

So yeah, that’s my life now.

Lately, I've noticed a rise in abusive parents who actively go out of their way to make their children's lives a living hell. There are so many people who talk about hving parents that abuse them and how much it affects them, and it sickens me that people (particularly the government) isn't doing a damn thing about it. There are people who want to self-harm and commit suicide because they don't feel loved by anyone around them. Wanna know something else? I have two friends who came out as LGBTQ+ to their parents and they've been treated like complete dogcrap.

You can say what you want about what God or the Bible says, but religion should NEVER be a justification for discriminaton or abuse. EVER. If you want to stick to your faith, that's fine. But don't use it as an excuse to treat people who are different like complete and utter crap. To quote Alucard from SotN: Do not hate humans. If you cannot live withthem, then at least do them no harm, for their's is already a hard lot.

And for those NOT using religion as a justification for such things and are doing it because they're upset that their child is nothing like them: IF YOU DO NOT WANT THEM, THEN FIND SOMEONE WHO DOES!!! GIVE THEM TO SOMEONE WHO WILL ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THEM INSTEAD OF GIVING THEM THE EQUIVALENT OF HELL ITSELF!!! You don't deserve the family you have if you're going to hurt them just because they aren't an exact, 1-for-1, cell -by-cell, atom-by-atom, neuron-by-neuron copy of you! There's a REASON why they don't wanan be like you, and you hurting them just makes their life worse and makes them want to distance themselves from you even more!

You were the most annoying cat known to mankind. I legit hated you but you never deserved to die.

This morning, I knew something was wrong when all of our cats ran inside. However, since I had one singular AirPod in, I couldn’t hear from my left side and that’s the way our door faces when I walk out. I needed to use the restroom so I just brushed it off as the cats being hungry and walked away.

I finished using the restroom and walked into our kitchen. My parents heard something that sounded like a bunny being killed and thought one of the cats caught one. So she went outside and two coyotes were attacking Sylvester. My mom said one was pulling him by his head and the second was pulling him by his butt. They were literally trying to rip him apart while he was alive.

My mom screamed for my dad and he grabbed our 22 Rifle. Sadly, he didn’t hit the coyotes but they did drop Sylvester and run off. My dad told me not to go down and I listened. My mom walked down when I looked away from her and my dad came out when she was walking down. He called out to her to not go down but she yelled at him “he’s still alive!” Which means he was suffering because there was no way we could save him. My dad ran back inside and had to run back out with our 22 Rifle. Sylvester was just lying there not moving, and my dad ended his suffering. He’s now buried under one of our orange trees.

Rest in peace, Sylvester. If I can make you one promise, it’s that dad won’t hesitate to kill those who took you from us. We’ve taken down one, we’ll take down as many more that we need to.

When you forget that one of your cats was just killed and you plan on saving food for him. I hate raisins with a passion. Sylvester liked them though so he became my raisin buddy. He’d eat the raisins out of my snacks for me. I had my snack today, and was about to say I’d save the raisins for Sylvester. I cut myself off when I realized he’s not here to eat my raisins. He always wanted a peanut but I never gave him one.

I went outside and gave him a peanut and his raisins one last time. I know he can’t eat them, but putting them at his burial was my way of saying goodbye.
