Learn human anatomy and practice alot. When drawing clothes, keep the body underneath in mind. Avoid long straight lines and instead always give it a slight curve to make it seem natural.

*GASP* do i?? Ok ok, i never started out doing this but ik a decent amount of ppl do, for anatomy and stuff Draw a stick figure, then build upon that wig basic shapes, add features like hair and clothes and a face and thats kinda it. But i dont do that, i just wing it, and all i draw is humans, well and demons but they stand and act human, but thats only bc i have spend.. like a decade just drawing humans, over and over. For the most part. Its second nature for me. But use alot of references. Go on pinterest or just use google. I would suggest using anime bc its not too realistic and detailed but it has a decent grasp on anatomy, depending on the show
