- Create a MediBang Account
- Click on "Submit" (top-right corner) on https://medibang.com/
- Click "Submit" once again
- Under "Illustrations" drag and drop or select the file (JPG or PNG) you'dlike to submit, and upload it.
- Enter an "Illustration title", add the tag「SMA-EX2」and click on submit.
- Finally click on "Publish to MediBang"
SMA-EX2 SPECIFIC RULES & GUIDELINES

“Smile-inducing, heart-touching scenes of positive emotions” will receive the highest awards.
Please consider this the highest priority. We believe that asking yourself “Will this piece bring happiness to the viewer?” is the best measure to this goal.
- For ILLUSTRATION : “Close-Up that shows FACIAL EXPRESSION” is strongly encouraged. Draw from chest and up, focus more on facial expression than anything else.

NO DEPICTION that induce “negative emotions” to viewers, such as EARTHQUAKES, NATURAL DISASTERS, WAR, ILLNESS, DEATH, etc.
For example, if you wish to create a picture of “Someone recovering from wounds” – Try to keep the scenes of being injured / in agony / in pain to a minimum. Or best – cut it out altogether. Instead focus on a scene of “Joy / Satisfaction” of “Recovery / Overcoming the hardship”.
“Creating a picture that induce feelings such as joy and happiness” is often a key skill to any artist. We hope this event can be a great opportunity to practice this.
If in doubt, try to “forget about the disaster that hit Kumamoto” altogether – just create a wonderful illustration representing a scene in Kumamoto.
What they’d like to see is a positive painting that reminds us that humanity is great – what they DO NOT WANT to see, is a reminder that something bad happened in the past.
As with regular rounds, NO DEPICTION THAT INFRINGES ON THIRD PARTY’S TRADEMARKS or COPYRIGHTS – Regrettably, NO “KUMAMON” this time please. ( On this opportunity, we’d like to show our deepest respect and love for Kumamon-san – Kumamoto’s most beloved bear. )
