ART street marks three years since the first publication of the illustration book, so we are holding a big contest!

An artist whose illustration is chosen as a cover illustration will win 1,000,000JPY
as a prize money.
(The biggest amount of prize money among all of the illustration contents hosted by ART street. 💰💰💰)

What is the ART street Illustration Book?
It’s an illustration book that we publish on ART street every year.
We collect illustrations drawn by users who ranked platinum in that year and publish them in our illustration book.

* Illustration book for 2021 is only available for the creators whose illustrations were published.
Let's draw a "single illustration"

Cover illustration range
The range the cover illustration is the front cover, spine, and back cover. We're looking for a "single illustration" that connects all of them.
Illustrations that have a separate design for each cover are not acceptable.

Points to consider when drawing a cover illustration.
It is recommended to place important things on the "front cover" side. (For example, a character's face.) The center of the canvas will be the spine. Therefore, we recommend that you do not place any important objects in this position. It is not recommended to use a design that divides the book by the spine, as the spine may be displaced.

If your illustration is selected for the cover, you will be asked to send us the original data (either editable MDP or PSD). Please be sure to keep the original data with you until the results are announced.the layout may be adjusted or modified.
The color of the illustration may change when it becomes a cover. Please be aware of this.
We will add the title and our company name (logo) on the illustration.
When submitting, please delete the "Description" and "Frame" layers.

・You may enter an artwork you have posted on social medias such as Twitter in the past. You can also post your contest artworks on social media during the entry period.
・You can submit any artwork that is drawn by any paint tool applications (including MediBang Paint) in analog and digital.

・Only one illustration can be submitted and submission is accepted only once. (You can not modify your illustration after submitting.)
・Please make sure to use the template when you submit your illustration to this contest. Works that do not use the template will be eliminated.
・We will ask you to give us the original data of your work (MDP or PSD data that can be edited) if your illustration is selected as a cover illustration. Therefore, please make sure to keep the original data until the result is announced.
・Please note that we might edit/modify the coloring and layout of the illustration that is selected as a cover illustration.
In addition, you will not be able to use the illustration for commercial purposes if your illustration is selected as a cover illustration. Please understand it in advance.
・Limited to your own work that you own all the rights and is published for free without any commercial purposes.
・Entries that are sexual, or might result in causing harm to other people are not accepted. Any entries breaking this rule will be blocked or have their account suspended.
・Depictions that infringe upon the rights (image rights, copyrights, etc.) of a third party are prohibited.
・Submissions that have ever been awarded in other contests except ART street cannot be submitted.
・Secondary creation or fanarts are not allowed.
・No plagiarism or double (duplicate) submissions to contests other than ART street are allowed
・If the ART street managing team identifies an illustration inappropriate for the contest, the contest tag or the illustration itself might get deleted.
・Please keep the original data from the start of the contest application period until the result announcement.
・Works that are submitted to the contest will be posted for free and without compensation on the website managed by MediBang, Inc., social networking services/sites, catalogs, etc., for purposes such as contest promotion, advertising, announcing the results, etc.
・After the entry period has passed, you may receive a notification from info-contests@medibang.com to the email address registered in your MediBang account. If you do not reply within the reply deadline, your work may be excluded.
