Most of the parts are still rough, but I could see the high potential this author has based on the drawing, direction, and structure of this work. Although it has mysterious and serious views on its story, I didn’t get bored while reading because the dialogue between a girl named “Mia” and “Tio” who is the forest deity and its guardian was gratifying. It’s well balanced. This author certainly has potential for growth.

The author could make it perfect if they expressed Mia’s emotion and Tio's sternness at a higher level. The point I want to evaluate the most is that the author made the story more satisfying by making the last scene hopefull.

I enjoyed judging because we had a variety of manga works that were enthusiastic and challenging this year. We could see the different values from different cultural backgrounds in each story and it made us reconsider the possibility of expressions through manga. Films and anime are usually created by many people, thus teamwork is required. On the other hand, manga is a media in which individuals can reflect their personal value, although it can be read by people around the world. Drawings can resonate with anyone regardless of their language and culture. We believe that any of you can create a manga that is read and enjoyed by readers from all over the world if you keep being passionate about creations, keep drawing and keep improving your skill.

The titan in sleep judges people’s sin. This manga has deep and heavy coloring, and it fits the seriousness of the story well. The main character struggles with his own sin as an executioner. The last scene in which he executes a man who claims his innocence and reflects on his act afterwards and meets the goddess of revenge has a tense atmosphere and it was great. I, a reader, resonated with the main character and sighed too without even realizing it in the end of the story where he sighs with relief. That scene was quite impressive.

I was overwhelmed by the quality of full colored drawings and immersed into this manga. The titan’s huge face in the forest is especially well drawn and it arouses a feeling of awe. I felt the scene where she eats sinful people resembles the scenes in other manga, but the story was convincing enough to cover that part.

This work was wonderful and it reminded me of the fact that we can express all things in nature through manga. I think it would be easier to understand that the theme of the story is universal if the author made the main character’s occupation more common.

I thought it was going to be a hard-boiled sci fi manga with beastmen in the beginning but it was actually set in the world of a VR game. Blue tones like reflections of neon light match the atmosphere of this manga very well. Although the first half of the story goes smoothly, making us wonder what will happen to the couple in the VR world, I feel that the development of the story is too slow because there is no turning point that makes readers interested in how the story ends. The plot that a character make a murder plan using illegal VR feature, and fails to achieve it then commits suicide was excellent. In the end of the story, the new character is explaining things too much and it would be better without it. This work is full of charm as a suspense manga.

The author has completed a big piece of work that contains 140 pages without changing the quality of art. The latter half of the story has a strong attractiveness that lures us into the story. However, the story goes too slowly in the first half, so I want the author to take a careful look at the structure of the story and the number of pages when they create the next manga work.

Shading of this work creates a tense atmosphere and I could focus on reading even though this work has 140 pages. At first, I thought that a murder plan within the VR world is a common theme, but this work betreyed my expectation in a good way. It would be even better if there is a character that readers can sympathize with as a friend of Shu and Ri.

Both drawings and flow of character’s emotions are powerful. The drawing is so gorgeous and the cover page is really impressive, too. The main character Charona is as skilled as Periphetes from a good family but she can not get promoted because her social status is not high. I felt this setting is a bit unbalanced though. The main character’s personality is so attractive. I’d love to read other manga works drawn by this author.

Powerful arts and impressive character design. The drawing of this work is flawless. To show her charm effectively, I recommend the author to add more scenes that show the main character’s personality in the first half of the story. By showing the character's strength and weakness, readers will like all of the characters.

Characters and background art are designed like children’s picture books. Each character’s features are revealed as they discuss the will of the deceased and all of them are somewhat typical. I could not understand why a character gets so mad when the notary explains that they need to pass a ritual to be the inheritor. The part where three characters who are eager to get the inheritance get drowned in greed and erased while the disinterested son survives is like a fable. This manga stuck in my mind because of its impressive direction and designs.

A shabby looking guy shows up to discuss a wealthy business mogul’s inheritance. The initial part of this manga lured me into the story. I could see that the main message the ending of the story implies is that greedy people ruin themselves, but it might be difficult for readers to understand what was the intention of the deceased.

I was attracted by the uniquely designed characters and excited to read the story, guessing how it ends. However, the story seemed to be too direct from the part where the readers can predict the ending. The author could make it better if they added a twist.
