Two intertwined worlds: ours and theirs. Humans and humanoid aliens, known as "MAGES," worked together to solve a crisis. The mages possessed mythical powers and showed humans small runes containing extraordinary magical energy. Humanity's thirst for power led to the theft of the runes, causing a war between mages and humans who could wield the rune's power, known as "mancers." The arrival of an unidentified mancer and a newborn, "The Child of the Sun," shifted the war's tides.
