As someone for whom a 'quick drawing' can take at least 8 hours, it occured to me that I should be doing something to become faster. So I decided to start doing practice pieces and only allow myself to work on them for one hour. In theory this is something quick I can do in between my more serious projects while learning how to become faster. And after completing this first one I can say that...hate is a strong word but I will definitely come into tomorrow's drawing with a different strategy.
