Some stuff happened this year, and it has weighed me down quite a bit. But while I was ready to give up on myself, God wasn't ready to give up on me. I won't exactly disclose the details (remembering is tough), but I do just want to share God's continuous and faithful Love throughout all of this. He has and continues to teach me a lot about life and His Love, even through harsh experiences. There have been times where I asked "Why, Lord?".
But as I look back on them, I begin to understand that sometimes, He seeks to grow us through them. He didn't stop the rain for me even though He could. Instead, He stood by me and sheltered me with a large umbrella, so He and I could go through the storm together. :)
I pray for you all who suffer in silence, hurt, or feeling full of guilt and shame. God will take care of you in his own Love for you. It has been said many times, because it is true.
