I am so glad that summer is here!! I used to really hate it, but the place I moved to recently has a wonderful pool, so now I love it.
Anyway, I've always been a huge fan of beach episodes in anime and manga, so naturally, I wanted to draw Melody, Tempo & Key like this in color (Key didn't exist a few months ago, when I draw Tempo & Mel in their beach outfits for the first time)
Whereas 'Ephemeral' demands I complete each panel as if I were painting an animation frame, I think 'Dissonant' would work quite nicely as a black and white (monochrome) manga with my painted illustrations serving as supplemental material. To tackle double serialization is a huge dream of mine.
My goal is to one day leave my corporate job and do this full time, so I'm going to work as hard as I can to make that a reality; making comics is giving me life I didn't think I had in me and I want to get better at it.
It's SO rewarding telling stories.
