ジャージというのは、家着に便利ですよね。動きやすく、洗濯も簡単。そのまま寝巻きになるし、ゴミ出しくらいなら外でも着れますし。田舎では中学生がジャージで通学してます。近所のスーパーでも見かけます。都会では、ない光景でしょうね。アメリカにニュージャージー州というのがあるので、そこが発祥の地かとも思いましたが、特に関連はないようです。昔聞いていた洋楽に「Jersey Girl 」というのがあって、それは別段ジャージを着た女って曲ではなく、ジャージー州の恋人にぞっこん惚れてる、ってバラードでした。どこか悲しく切ない曲でした。
