I can't possibly be the only one who's thought of this, right? I mean, the idea practically makes itself with the gem names.
It's been a while since I saw the show or read the manga, so my grip on their personalities isn't so strong, but this was mostly just a sketch so I could get the designs out of my head.
I actually hopes someone sees this and gets inspired to write or draw something like this. I would write a fanfiction myself, but then it would never see the light of day, since I'd never get past the first chapter, if I even got that far
Also, I just love to draw eyes, that's the only reason I included them on the sides
