In the context of Europe in early March 2022, the Japanese ambassador to Ukraine was offered the chance to leave the country, but he decided to stay and fight side by side with the Ukrainian people against the threat of their country. He dressed in a samurai costume, demanded that his sword be brought and said he would not leave Kiev because the samurai had a duty to protect the country that had given him shelter and respect.
I chose him as a model because it was confirmed to me, once again, that the Japanese people have a strong character and show respect for the people who were with them in difficult times.
