"Mutated through the radioactive waves from the past, these eels that consumed the deceased bodies lost at sea began to evolve into more humanoid forms.
As they began to evolve, these creatures became fiercer, sometimes even resorting to cannibalism.
As the evolution was in the span of a mere couple years, the ulna, the outer bone of the arm, ripped through the flesh of the creature, which became both an offensive and defensive mechanism for the creature.
In these mere years however, it seems that the first evolver must have been a blind eel, as the ones we have found have no eyes, only slits which we have come to discover are actually olfactory glands, a super enhanced nose, we can call it.
We have yet to see this creature further evolve...."
In actuality, I havent made a background story for "The Eel", so, I made one on the spot.
