These entities or dark spirits were the result of mad man experiment, trying to understand the nature of the soul he bereft them of their corporeal forms and their sanity. Thus they exist beyond life and death in a world full of phantoms. And wander on into other worlds, endlessly invading others to search for a new home.
I drew this piece because of recently, i started to play Dark Souls II again. Man it was janky as i remember it but thats the charm of the game, and also these annoying guys so why not draw them. Their overall armor and backstory is quite interesting, i kinda feel for them endlessly wander on and on in search of a purpose, of a place to call home.
