A best Friend is to me someone I can rely on and know they will be there by my side, accepting all the weird quirks one can have. Like Kawafuji and Handa. They know each other since middle school and even they are grown ups they are still friends. No matter what kind of mood changes Handa goes through, Kawafuji knows how to pump him up. Even after Handa quit and started a calligraphy school and they both got into a big fight, Kawafuji still helped him with the business related stuff, which is another point I find important in a friendship; no matter how angry one is at the other it won't last long or the fight won't cloud the decision in helping your best friend out.
