question
im curious to get to know yall more. whats the most horrifying experience youve had in school?
tw// sh--ting scare
mine was when i was in second grade. i remember this so exactly i remember i was wearing a short leather jacket, gray sweatpants and a white t-shirt. i was just sitting down on the cafeteria floor with my bags crammed with my classmates. we were the first ones there, then shit escalated. one of the teachers there with us ran out of the bathroom screaming "lockdown, not a drill!" at least that's what people said but my second grade mind didn't hear it. the next thing i remember was rushing to the bathrooms attached to the cafeteria. we all got into the big stall and i was at the very corner squeezed by everyone else. at one point after what felt like hours, the teacher i was with looked down at her phone and said start moving as a group to the auditoriums. at this point, there were news reporters outside, wonderful. i got up slower than others as i am pretty weak. i somehow got separated from my group and was awkwardly walking around the lobby not knowing what to do. suddenly, the vice principal shows up, sees my sorry ass crying because i thought i was going to die, led me to the auditorium, still separated, separation issues, fun. still crying, got put with the fifth graders, looked at.
wanna know the best part? this was a scare. it was october and some kid from the college across had a belt with fake bullets for halloween and the bathroom security cameras got it and sent a warning for bullets. my parents thought i was dead. my brother who went to that school wasn't with me bc he was still in class and in the middle school at that school, so i thought he was dead.
ive written whole essays on this experience and people still think i was overreactive for crying
