Yumi has just scraped a victory against Laiga - the second guardian of Shoryu Mountain! Although this appears to be good news, all is not well with the group... as Kagane and Ryu are at each other's throats. With Ryu wanting to return to the foot of the mountain to save his dying sister, and Kagane insisting that the whole team is required to complete their mission, it seems the two simply cannot agree, and choose to settle this dispute with their blades instead. Knowing he is no match for the more experienced Kagane, Ryu resorts to breaking his promise to Kozaru, and activating the mysterious Hyper Mode once more...
