In the year 1990, an enormous explosion occurs at the Nova City Research Facility in Illinois. A powerful radioactive molecule called Alphanium is released into the atmosphere and the radiation spreads across the world. The greatest radioactive meltdown in history becomes known as The Calamity. Thirty years later, a rise in the appearance of super humans occurs worldwide. These beings possess a variety of extraordinary abilities; with some capable of flight and even teleportation. As they spread and integrate into human society these super beings become known as Alphas.

10 super humans all over Impact City are selected to take action with their abnormal abilities in an effort to protect the innocent and fight crime. Eventually, when they meet, they form the super hero team known as Earth Squad and begin their superhero destiny. A nefarious villain known as Blue Cyanide rises in an attempt to conquer the city. It is up to Earth Squad to defeat Blue Cyanide and bring peace to Impact City
