Kanota Nishikawa, a highschool boy is living a life he is unsatisfied with. After a series of negatively impacting events he makes a decision that could change his life forever. In this world it is discovered that there exist humans who can shape their blood externally and use it as weapons. Kanota finds himself stuck and has to find his way through challenging situations in order to see his family again, who believes he abandoned them.

A village finds a young boy unconscious near their village. They bring him back to the village to help him out, and it turns out that the boy has no prior knowledge to anything before being found. The villagers are quick to notice that the boy has an great ability from a prophecy, that allows him to control aspects of life. They name him light because of the light that his hair gives off. Light joins the mission to take down the fortress of darkness and save the village, while possibly learning more crucial information about his past on this exiting journey.
