Kuzaki leaves Yui after he had decided that he's going to chase a dream that wouldn't be possible if Yui tagged along with him. He had decided this is the best way to finally do something he's proud of in life. The reason Yui isn't able to tag along is because she insists on staying where she is because she's happy there.
