Following Baldr's death, Thor went into exile in Midgard because the latter blames himself for "having" let his brother die. Two years spent in Fimbulvetr, Thor learns, thanks to Loki, that one can resurrect Baldr by bringing together his pieces of soul left in the 9 kingdoms.
