It doesn't bother me at all if I'm being honest, I draw my stuff the way I want it to look and some people will like that and others won't. I'm not particularly concerned with being compared to other artists or if people like what I draw, I make my work for myself first and foremost and simply choose to share it. If you don't like that my facial work is reminiscent of Horikoshi's then that's fine, but it's not an objective flaw, it's what I was aiming for. I want to understand the fundamental framework of his artwork and then bend the rules and push experimentation when I feel I have enough knowledge to make it work.
Besides, it will gradually change overtime as all things do. Early Horikoshi is very blatantly Ohkubo and Oda. Once he had a grasp on how those worked he started branching out and experimenting, likewise I have other avenues I wish to experiment with and mix in as I go. It's all part of the process.
