In a world of stark contrasts, Lower and Higher exist as opposites that paradoxically rely on each other. Lower, the domain of tireless slaves, serves as the backbone for the privileged citizens residing in Higher. Amidst this societal divide, King, an ambitious slave, harbors an extraordinary dream – to ascend to Higher and rule over those who oppress him. Sunnyside, the sun touched town. Julian has lived in this way too normal town all his life. But when he is found unconscious in a grassy field he begins to realize things just might not be too normal after all.
Upon returning back to school after his 'incident', Julian's best friend Sandrine reveals the kids of Sunnyside have begun to develop telekinetic abilities.
Join Julian and Sandrine as they try to understand just exactly what is happening in their quaint little town. Looks like Sunnyside has a few secrets!
