My background as a Manga Creator
When I was a child, I loved making comics of video games that I enjoyed. As I grew up, I experimented with different avenues for creativity: writing, film, short skits. But I could never make what I envisioned tangible, I didn't have the resources.
18 years of bouncing around these creative outlets and I stumble upon a D&D Campaign by RUSTAGE on YouTube. It was a great story with lots of fun characters and plot lines. There were so many scenes that I saw in my head that I wanted to see as a manga. No one was making it, so I started page 1 with no art experience and just a basic understanding of panel structure and cinematography.
Two years pass and my art has improved drastically! I published Volume 1, and I'm a full fledged manga creator now! Manga has allowed me to create exactly what I envision with no stipulation or cutbacks. What ever story I want to tell, message I want to convey, or crazy idea I have, I can draw with no worries about budget. That is why I love making comics.
