Lurking between the realm of hopes and dreams, Akumas--dark entities that distort the human mind-cause abundant sadness. However, Steven and Alora, those few aware of this phenomenom are (mostly) determined to stop this. Though they run into trouble when they learn that the person afflicted with an Akuma was a childhood friend of Steven's and one he does not have the best view of.

“Am I True hero”----this was Dan’s only thought as he died an uneventful life. However, his story continues on when he is immediately summoned to another world, where he is tasked with saving the kingdom of Calum from starvation by reclaiming resources stolen by a neighboring kingdom.
