In the distant kingdom of Dragonia, dragon-riders known as "Guardians" protect the kingdom from outside threats. But, each Guardian must prove themselves worthy by completing various tests. Some can be rather unusual. Luna and her friends are dropped off at the abandoned village of Selinmura, known colloquially as "The Petrified Village", and they must spend the night. Unfortunately for them, the house they stake their camp in is apparently haunted. Whoops.

One dark and stormy night, a young maiden shows up at the palace gates, claiming she is a princess. There's only one way to prove if she's telling the truth or not and that is...a pea?

After drowning in a river, Ame Mizushima regains consciousness in what she presumes to be the Spirit World. There, she discovers a strange amulet engraved with the kanji for "water" - and it infuses her with magical powers. Ame later wakes up back in the living world, having been recovered from a river by a samurai, and farther away from home than she would like.

A disturbing urban legend is certainly the way to make your kids go to bed, right?
