Just a touch up from of the previous version that was submitted for the contest.(I have to upload another one as it could not be edited anymore). While working on this piece, I found myself questioning the usage of screentones or hatching, and wondered what kind of shading style would fit the characters and the background. I don't feel like i found the appropriate balance/ use between the two, at least not yet. However, working on this piece made me realize where my weaknesses are, and i will work on those in hopes to bring a better piece to you in the future.
