Cliff heads to the top of Wolf Mountain, where he intends to kill the wolf that lives there in order to free his village of its curse. Just as he is about to begin his journey, he meets a strange person by the name of Kai who is also heading to the top of the mountain in search of a very special fruit that only grows there. The two decide to travel together and develop an unlikely friendship.
