Dyna never wanted to be married but according to the law by the age of twenty every citizen had to be married and by the age of thirty produce a child in order to replenish the human population which was depleted after a series of global attacks by vampires. Most countries and most of the human race were killed or taken to become no more than livestock. Dyna was apart of one of the last remaining free human civilizations that were still fighting against the overwhelming forces of the vampires. She lived as a civilian person until one day she started hearing a voice in her mind telling her to kill. She soon discovered a horrible secret lying with the most powerful of vampires and that she was now only half-human. Forced to fight against vampires, she is forced to face the worst in humans, the worst in vampires, and the evil sharing space in her own mind.
