The World is divided between its three Domains, Heaven, Terra, and Hell. The story focuses on Dakota Mal Messiah, a boy with a checkered past who's only ever wanted to see a sunset without worry. He and his mother have just moved to the Yanagi Kingdom in Japan for a fresh start and a new life. On his first day in his new home however, he's wrongly imprisoned for crimes against humanity. Crimes so severe that the result is a death sentence. If he wants to avoid execution, he'll need to work together with the White Knight, an envoy of the Heavenly Council and subject of Themis the Goddess of Justice, to reveal the truth of his false imprisonment and escape his unjust fate. To make a World without worries, he'll destroy any form of prejudice and injustice that stands in his way.
