Sean Brynmawr, age 15, is addicted to the clouds. He has an almost suicidal dream of free-falling from them.
Sean is the lone survivor of a plane that exploded in mid-air when he was 10. Christened the "Miracle Child," he survived a free-fall of 40,000 feet. With only 2 major injuries. Feeling as if he's lost all control, Sean dreams to challenge the sky itself to a duel of survival, by beginning a career of balloon-jumping believing it to be the only way to find peace, and avenge his mother who died on the plane that fateful day.
