Papararudo Samyueru lives in a city that is divided into three different regions: the upper-class region, the middle-class region, and the lower-class region. Members of the lower-class region have to give up their firstborn child to the government in exchange for not being able to pay taxes. However, they are given a promise that if the family can accumulate a large sum of money during their lifetime, they will be able to buy their firstborn child back from the government. PapararudoSamyueru is determined to join the army, which is one of the highest-paid jobs in the city, in order to buy his older sister back from the government. He wants to work his way up to the highest rank in the army, which is known as the pope of the city. As the pope, he wants to create a world that is free of discrimination and wants to combine all three regions into one.
