A world where man eating creatures invisible to the naked eye roam the streets. The only ones who can see these creatures, are the "Akane knights". They protect humans from these creatures....or so you think. Follow Katherine Prairie, a 17 year old living alone with her 10 year old brother diagnosed with cancer, as they try their best to live in such a chaotic world. How far will Katherine go to save her brother who's mysteriously disappeared? Hopefully not with the help of some homeless knight.
