The world’s finest prep school is W. Lycan Academy a Shifter School. A place where kids with the ability to shape shift are sent to master their shifting abilities so that they can be become productive members of society. Very few people are able to shift but it is more likely if both parents are shifters. Mathias born to none shifting parents grew up poor because all the best jobs go to shifters. When he unexpectedly and unintentionally shifts for the first time his parents see a chance for him to move out the lower class. He is awarded a Scholarship to W. Lycan Academy but all is not what it seems. Forbidden among shifters is transforming into another human however some have ignored this rule and are dubbed Skinwalkers. They seek to harness a special power that Mathias has been discovered to have and use it for their own means.
