The events take place in the present day in an ordinary flat in a typical panel building. The protagonist is a nondescript young man. A withered flower in his room turns out to be an extremely dangerous neighbour with whom the protagonist is forced to find common ground. Who would have thought that the plant, forgotten by its owner, would cause so much trouble and, moreover, be capable of killing a man, which means that getting rid of an unpleasant roommate will not be so easy.
Even worse, the dangerous flowerpot thing is intelligent and speaks a language the protagonist doesn't understand. There is no help in taming the dangerous neighbour. The people around are indifferent to the boy's problems because they do not believe in the reality of what is happening to him. Will the protagonist be able to deal with an intelligent creature that has taken over his apartment, or will the plant take over the house and make its own rules?
