Story and Art: Raykosen

Maya is a bubbly young girl who visited her lola (grandmother) to receive a birthday present. It's a heart and butterfly brooch meant to turn her into a magical girl named Maha whose main villains are manananggal. A manananggal is a Philippine monster who severe its torso, flies and finds its human prey.

However, there is a twist. Maya or Maha also happens to be a "manananggal".

Maha is a Magical Manananggal.
