Some content I can REALLY sink my teeth into
So what if for this summer some of us got together and drew like a casual comic together? The drawing schedule probably wouldn't be super strict 'cause I mean it's summer, but people that join would have to be able to get stuff done on time. It wouldn't be super high stress, just simple little comics with a simple story?
I don't know what the format would be with all of us working together. We could do it kinda like a regular comic where someone illustrates the characters and someone does the background while someone else does the coloring? I'd assume most people would want a chance to draw characters so maybe we could each take on a character and then if someone wanted to chip in with background then they could?
Idk if anyone has any ideas then I'd love to hear them.

So there are these characters I got right? I really love these characters a lot and I’ve had them for over a year. Problem is despite having them for a year I cannot think of a good enough backstory. I have so many story ideas but they just aren’t good enough for me. At the same time though I feel like I’m so close to something great? At this point I don’t know what to do. Uh so yeah does anyone have advice possibly? Should I just scrap them or what?

This is a common and hard problems. Try removing any plotholes/loopholes that you can. Maybe try something different, think outside the box! Maybe try to make something new, or even music can help inspire stories! And if allelse fails, just wait for an idea to come to mind i suppose, i mean, I've had characters for over 2 years and I'm still figuring out how their story would work! It's definitely somethng that takes time!

I know a lot of people enjoy designing their own characters so I was also thinking everyone could design their own character then we could all write out the scenes with them and each person is in charge of their own character and draws them whenever they're in the comic if that makes sense? However that would require a lot of passing around which would probably be too hard for everyone. which is why the chapter idea is really good and probably the best. I might first get the group together then we could all vote on it?
