For a post I wanna make, it has the phantom girls in kimono. Queenie wears a susohiki/hikizuri, which is a traditional kimono reserved for stage performers and geisha/maiko. I want to honour the ancient art behind this kimono, so I want queenie to look as authentic as possible to respect the culture behind it, so I want to draw her in traditional makeup. Is this cultural appropriation?

I won’t be very active for a month, my parents will only let me go online for 1 hour after dinner, so I won’t have a lot of time to draw or post. I’m really sorry but I can’t do anything and it’s depressing me like hell. I didn’t even want to wake up today, the only thing that made me get up was my imaginary friends and my imaginary boyfriend, who were insistent I still take care of myself on the principality that they were technically me too, and I didn’t want to hurt them.
