Getting a rEaL job

So my grandmother had me drive to dollar general to get something and when we got in she asked the guy who worked there if they were accepting teenagers to work. He said “Comere’” and gestured with his hand “they ain’t going to make any money” but my grandmother said that she knew that and thought it would be a good starter job especially since it was so close to our house. He said that I could apply but again wouldn’t make enough money. So this summer when I get my drivers license and turn 16 I’ll be able to drive and work there! Ik it’s not much but I’m still excited about it 🙌 it’s a job other than cat sitting 👍
