Nope, tracing is when you're literally drawing over the reference.. However drawing it yourself by looking at a reference does not amount to tracing, in fact having references is an incredible way of learning...
I'm going to make a comic! It's called 'Anna Ne Zha', which is based on her as a main character, as well as her new friends. But it may take a while because of background drawing and character drawing, so I won't post art, and my wrists might hurt a bit, unless I must find a way to create a group chat for the comic, I might be out of order.... Hehehehehe so yeah! See ya!
