I honestly don’t think the title is a accurate description.
There is something holding back my progress. A road block in my art journey. I have no idea what it is.
I have motivation to draw. I am proud of my art pieces. And the things I usually struggle with drawing I don’t struggle with anymore. But despite all of this I can’t shake the feeling that there is something holding me back. It’s like when you need to find something but you forget what it is as soon as you walk through the door. It feels like I am about to have a breakthrough. Like I am going to reach the peak of the mountain but I just can’t figure out how to reach the peak of the mountain.
This feeling also affects my drawing process. It’s like the art looks good but I have the ability to make it look better.

I bought Ayaka’s and Keqing’s skins. I also was able to win 50/50 on Al Haitham’s banner. I used the left over genesis crystals on the weapon banner. I got wolves gravestone at 55 pity. Not really mad cause i wanted it anyway. I have 100 dollars to spend for the weapon. I will get the weapon and sacrifice 100 dollars cause I’m not spending more then that for a single weapon.
Would anyone even care if i just never came back?

I never realized how little mora I had until now
I need 7,050,030 mora in order to get max ascension levels and talent levels

It’s been a wild week.
Anyways time to rant about genshin.
I did some prefarming for Al Haitham. Got all the enemy materials for max ascension for levels and talents. I’m still working on getting all the books. Gonna be fighting the dendro cube on the days I can’t farm the books for the dendro gems and for Yaoyao’s ascension.
I can’t decide on this like the crit rate isn’t bad and thats a lot of elemental mastery. However 82% crit rate is pretty nice. But the character I’m building relies on elemental mastery. This is tougher than I expected it to be.
I haven’t felt like drawing sorry. Anyways I did some farming and I was not able to get any good artifacts for Ayaka. So I did some exploring I got 6 whole fates out of it so that’s neat. I think I might buy Ayaka’s outfit because the only design flaw I can really point out right now is that the brown on the boots feels out of place, but that’s it. Also this may be weird, but it’s easier for me to manage my money when it’s physical dollars. Anyways, I will be adding the $50 dollars to my Apple thing on my tablet so that it’s just ready to use. The money is for free spending and I honestly have no idea what else I would spend that money on other then genshin, ehe.
I am going to build my Ayaka. I’m also gonna do my best to not have any missing assignments so i have more time to farm artifacts and primos. I also did some calculations and i should be able to reach pity on Al haitham and i plan on only spending money if i lose 50/50, or if i end up really wanting the new Ayaka skin sense its cute af(i also don’t want to regret it like i did with dilucs skin). That’s part of why i want to stay on top of my homework, so i can show I’m responsible. Also for Christmas i can spend $50, I decided that i will save 25% and spend the rest. I might also return a sketchbook my grandma got me, not because I didn’t like it, its because the paper is terrible for any of my materials. Sorry for ranting, i have been doing a lot of thinking.

Happy New Year!
On the first one I was so worried this was gonna be a bad rolling session. It was so close to being the perfect flower but got flat defense qwq. HOWEVER, when the goblet was able to dodge the hp and flat atk my jaw dropped. Then with the other flower it was able to completely dodge the defense. And the circlet was able to roll into only CRIT rate and CRIT DMG. I plan on doing some more farming for the deepwood memories and gilded dreams artifact sets.

The only finished thing is the drawing of delta, which took 12 hours to draw. I tried to draw Itto, and gave up. I tried drawing ray for a collab thing to celebrate 125 followers, but gave up. I tried drawing rai but gave up before even getting a basic sketch. Along with this I could barely even hold my Apple Pencil. I hate myself

I ranted about dilucs skin, Red dead of night, so lets talk about his og outfit, Darknight Blaze.
Off the bat his in game model is different from the art so there are some differences between the two. (In the splash art it is the same as the in game model though.)
So unlike his other outfit this one doesn’t have 21 belts. This design only has 4 (6 in the art) belts the don’t really do anything but it does help the design look good and it doesn’t clutter the design. Also the underside of the coat in the in-game model is a dark red color which helps to keep him from his legs blending with his coat. While Red Dead of Night looks like a giant red blob. He also has a leg accessory, thats a hard thing to pull of and it looks great. Definitely better then having 6 belts doing nothing.Also having a primarily dim and monochrome outfit really makes the reds pop, making it clear that he uses fire. He looks like a noble man and the dark colors are good for stealth, but the red dead of night is supposed to be the outfit he wears during missions even though its so bright.
The only thing that this design does worse the Red Dead of Night is that it has a very bland silhouette.
This is the outfit that I constantly draw Diluc in when I’m bored because its so memorable and I don’t really need a reference to draw him with this outfit. However with Red Dead of Night I had to get SO MANY REFERENCES.
The more i look at dilucs 5 star skin the more i hate it.
It looks like he was trying to shitly resemble Kaeya out of spite, but that would be unsolicited hate towards Kaeya. Red dead of night has 21 belts and over half are literally doing nothing. He has a belt on his jacket collar doing nothing. He has one on his shirt collar also doing nothing and its near impossible to see so why even have it. He has four belts on his left leg doing nothing. He has 2 belts on his right leg doing, you guessed it, nothing. There is a belt on each of his shoes that do nothing. He has a belt on the end of his jacket which i guess its useful but it would normally be higher up on the jacket. He has kinda a belt hanging from his jacket to hold this metal ornament thing. He has a belt on each of the cuffs of his jacket which isn’t necessary. There are only five belts that actually do something on the outfit. He has a giant chain on his jacket that adds unnecessary weight on the jacket. He has a bunch of patterns on his outfit that are so frustrating to draw. And his hair is still flat.
