Chapter one of soot and sukis backstory

The sound of hurried claws scraped across the smooth opalescent floor, the unsure light shone through the palace, only a few morning whispers could be heard. Blizzards breath became raspy after running for so long, she needed to get there as soon as possible. It was her first eggs hatching day. Something truly special for a icewing mother, she couldn't be late to it.
Sliding across the floor, scrambling to make a sudden stop, bits of ice breaking off from under her claws. Walking into the hatchery she saw many familiar faces, even her parents. But they meant nothing compared to her unborn baby, laying perfectly in it's nest in the center of the room.
She was just in time as everyone was shushed, and cracks webbed across the surface of the egg, walking over, blizzard wanted to be the first face her new baby saw.
The silence was broken, not a icewing, but a nightwing crawled out of the egg.
Reaching for her baby trouble quickly began to brew among the palace, a hybrid, a mistake.
A freak.

I'm lonely

I've never in my life felt so alone

But my heart hurts, I just want someone to hug, someone to be with, that i can talk to, someone i can cry with and not be made fun of

Cringe

A violet seawing dashed out, the news of the summer palace being attack spred faster than the fire that engulfed it. She stopped, watching a small dragonet whos wings were on fire that she had been taking care of for only hours. She could still see the wonder and Happyness in his large blue eyes.
"Please close your eyes and listen.."
She covered her eyes and fell to the ground, hearing a large crack, fill the air. She looked up, to see a flaming log on his back, as the life drained from his as he took his last breath, coughing out scarlet blood, to be illuminated my the flames around her and by the moon.
"They don't know to be scared..."
She felt sadness grow within her very being as tears fell loosely like a tropical storm started in her eyes, she looked at the broken figure of her perfect little baby, trying to stay quiet.
"Its going to be alright..."
She remembered how he said how soon this war would be over, and he would grow up to become a royal chef for the queen. But the dream faded faster than water on a dry desert day.
"Please stay with me..."
She saw a yellow skywing and dived for cover inside of a cactus bush. The thorns snagged at her scales, making her wince. But she finally breathed again when it turned around to persue a seawing that was trying to get away by air.
"Give me one more chance.."
She ran over to a small cave, to see her perfect blue egg in a shallow pool of water. She picked it up and felt love build up within. Her perfect, blue, little baby, and she wouldn't let anything happen to it.
"Let me learn how to love.."
She was suddenly stopped by a large mudwing, it's large body blocking her like a rock, no, no no no, she wasn t trapped yet. She ran blindly, the smoke filling her eyes.
"So i can hold you in my arms.."
She felt wet sand under her feet and almost dived in, a sharp heat appearing in front of her. The skywing was back, and stood along side the mudwing. She stood on her back legs holding her blue baby.
"And keep you safe."
She covered her body with her wings, as the mudwing and skywing took a deep breath.
"And warm.."
She prepared herself for flames as she took one last look a her egg. And sang a soft song she new she would never sing again.
"Let me learn how to love, give me time.."
