lizard plans !

so, im planning on saving up for a lizard buddy :))
im going to start doing chores around the house more frequently & maybe even housesitting for some people if i can find anyone around my neighborhood
the specific lizard im aiming for is a blue tongued skink, and the name i have for it is godzilla lmao
they’re really good lizards for beginners & have a lot of personality (which i look for in animals)
litters are sold june through august, & i want a baby so i can let it get more time to get used to contact with people
the reason im not gonna get one from a pet store is because they don’t always take proper care of them & chances are you’ll get a sick lizard or one that’s in bad condition :(
hopefully i can stick to my routine for the next couple of months & get enough money to buy all the equipment before the season for them is over
but yeah, wish me luck :,)
