The Spirit Domain (World of souls) and the word of the living are governed by the Soul Order. The Spirit Domain and the world of the living is separated by a dimensional barrier that keeps the spiritual beings away from the living; including from demons called Exanima. An abnormal type of Exanima is born. It has the power to make portals that can easily go through the strong dimensional barrier letting the Exanimas cause trouble to the human world. Because of the many possible threats, a high-ranked captain from the Soul Order decides to drop their Soul Arms to the world of the living, weapons that are created for fighting against the Exanimas. Our main character, Kurochi is one of the people who found one of these weapons. Kurochi, together with his Soul Arm will be fighting against the Exanimas and will be accompanying together for future possible threats that will come to the world of the living.
