About MediBang Premium's Limits

As of 2/9/2021, the date on which the MediBang Premium service was launched, the following limitations have been established in the MediBang cloud service, depending on the plan to which each user is subscribed.

Limitations that apply when exceeding the maximum cloud storage limit

Depending on the type of MediBang Premium plan you have subscribed to, the maximum limit of the storage capacity you can use will be determined. (If you are not a subscriber, the maximum limit is 3 GB).

When attempting to save to the cloud when the maximum storage limit is exceeded, the following limitations will apply:

  • You will not be able to open the files you have stored in the cloud.
  • You will not be able to save new files to the cloud.
  • You will not be able to add jobs to a computer that is over the maximum cloud storage capacity(*1).

*1: The storage capacity of an equipment will depend on the amount of storage available to the owner of the equipment.

Limitations on access to older versions of jobs stored in the cloud

If you are NOT a MediBang Premium subscriber, you can only access the last 3 versions of jobs stored in the cloud, and you will not be able to access older versions due to the following limitations:

  • You will not be able to open versions that are older than the last three versions (what you will be able to see is a preview image).
  • You will not be able to select versions that are older than the last three versions.

Limitations on exceeding the maximum number of "Friend Team".

If you are NOT subscribed to MediBang Premium, you will only be able to continue participating in the last 3 "Friend Team" (*2) you have recently joined, so you will no longer have access to the rest of the "Friend Teams" (the only thing you will be able to do is write messages on the wall of each team).

*2 With the term "Friend Team" we refer to teams whose owner is not used but another person.

These limitations apply from the first version of MediBang Paint compatible with MediBang Premium (Version 27.0 for PC / version 23.0 for Android / version 24.0 for iOS).
