Title Wind Goes On

Comments from Kamada

- We highly appreciated how the protagonist's complex emotions about leaving their hometown were effectively conveyed through visuals.
- These visuals demonstrated overwhelming artistic sense and ingenuity, with numerous captivating shots that employed camera techniques one wouldn't normally think to use in those moments.
- This exhibits exceptional talent, and we look forward to seeing more great work from this creator in the future.

Comments from Hamanaka

The visual composition is engaging, never becoming dull, and there's a clear intent behind what the creator wants to showcase.
This made for an enjoyable 15-minute viewing experience.
There's a good imbalance between the level of detail in the characters and the backgrounds, which makes the characters stand out.
Personally, I found this visual approach very appealing.

Comments from Jinbo

A story where a single black kite interweaves everything - the beloved places gradually fading away, friends departing, and one's younger self.
The flow and camera angles leading up to the climax in the latter half are particularly excellent and lyrical.

- While the content isn't particularly unique, the artwork is genuinely excellent, and it moves well as an animation.
- It wouldn't be out of place if broadcast on NHK's "Minna no Uta" (Everyone's Songs) program. In fact, works of this caliber are rarely seen on that show.
- Above all, the protagonist's feelings are fully expressed, which effectively communicates to the viewers and makes watching enjoyable. We especially want to commend this aspect.

Comments from Hamanaka

I've watched this several times, and I'm still amazed by the incredible animation.
The meticulous depiction of the girl's and insects' movements without using rotoscoping is truly impressive.
I understand that the music was also self-composed, and it matches perfectly with the visuals.
It's a piece that makes you say "Wow!" as you become completely absorbed in it.
I'm looking forward to the next work!

Comments from Jinbo

A work where lyrics, composition, performance, singing, and animation are all created by a single artist feels like an extension of the creator themselves.
The charm lies in its heartwarming worldview that seems to plant a seed in the hearts of those who experience it.

- The subtle gags were effective, and in terms of entertainment value, this work had the highest level of completion among all the entries.
- The artwork is easy to follow and consistent. The story progression skillfully omits unnecessary details, maintaining a good pace. In other words, we could simply enjoy the work.
- Moreover, the "oneshota" genre is quite rare in independent CG animation. The heroine's charm, combining gentleness, sensuality, and coolness, can be said to be this work's greatest strength.

Comments from Hamanaka

The adorable visuals filled me with warmth. Despite its short length, the work carefully depicts the characters' personalities, cute gestures, and storyline, making it a series I'd love to see more of. Also, for those familiar with the previous work, the surprise at the end was a lovely directorial touch.

Comments from Jinbo

A "one-night episode" perfectly suited for a short animation.
By presenting the dialogue as text, it successfully achieves a rhythmical and crisp narrative flow.

Comments from Kamada

- While the drawings are almost stick figures, in independent productions, it's acceptable to make compromises in some areas to focus on expressing what you really want to convey.
- The protagonist has a flawed personality, disregarding ethics and inconvenience to others for the sake of creating their work, thinking "to hell with it all". In a sense, they are a hero for creators and very appealing.
- The protagonist's outrageous ideas and actions are the main highlight of this work. Therefore, it's a bit disappointing that the latter half of the story develops in a relatively conventional manner.

Comments from Hamanaka

It was absolutely crazy!!!
Although the creator is capable of producing the density of realistic faces that appear midway, they deliberately chose not to do so and instead focused on the interplay between the two characters, which was fascinating to watch.
Given how far the plot was stretched, I think it might have been even better with one more twist at the end.

Comments from Jinbo

While seemingly presenting a mental landscape that any creator would empathize with in a casual manner, this work actually employs sophisticated stylization in every aspect - from the drawing lines to the story development and scene composition.
It gives the impression of being crafted by a seasoned professional.

- Many independent animations have been made with a "Lupin-style" theme, where a phantom thief evades the police and security guards to obtain treasure. We would have liked to see more originality in this work.
- The use of binary image effects could have been more effective if the overall visual style of the work had been designed and planned with this technique in mind from the start.

Comments from Hamanaka

The action scenes were incredibly cool!
It's clear what the creator wanted to showcase, and it was both powerful and smoothly animated.
Moreover, they experimented with various visual styles, which made it enjoyable to watch.

Comments from Jinbo

Above all, the drawing quality is superb.
Furthermore, everything from the coloring to the animation and even the choice of fonts is consistently sophisticated, living up to expectations.
This is a piece highly recommended for "adult enjoyment."
