I tried to combine my favourite Japanese artworks to create a traveling fantasy to Kyoto, the most beautiful city in the world.
The girl visits Kyoto riding a Phoenix inpired by Tezuka's Hi no Tori and the work of Ito Jakuchuu, ready to take pictures of some of the beautiful places in the city, such as: Ogata Korin's Irises at Heian Jingu, the Kyoto Tower, Daimonji and the great Pagoda. Her kimono is very fashionable, she loves japanese tea and camelia flowers.
I made this drawing with much love and respect for Kyoto, which I hope to visit again soon.
