Advancement. Improvement. Future. These are what P.R.I.D.E. was all about. The year was 2046 when this giant company created the very first Artificial Intelligent, ECC - 128 (Electro Core Code) , one which could develop itself. In their pursue of perfection, they experimented on human minds using a VMMORPG called Anima Core as a guise. Lured most population on earth to be a part of the AI’s development.
However, as this AI got stronger, one particular faction took measures by exposing the company’s secret and destroying the game. Then, the only way to end this program for good was by putting ECC - 128 in eternal sleep. Or it was, until the world forced to face the biggest crisis in human history 40 years later.
